Space charge phenomenon in Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is being investigated for more than two decades. Several theories have been put forth by researchers. Several experiments have been done and analysed on space charge dynamics in general, yet, the understanding on mechanism of space charge dynamics, field variations, charge packet movement inside the material etc. is incomplete. In this paper investigation has been done to observe the space charge dynamics of LDPE/MgO, with different concentrations of MgO, using Pulsed electroacoustic technique. Field enhancement due to charge accumulation and distortion has been investigated for a duration as long as five hours.en_US
