dc.description.abstract | A new fluorescent ‘turn-off’ receptor 1 based on lawsone azo dye was developed and its sensing ability was tested towards different metal ions by fluorescent method. The fluorescence of 1 at 385 nm was quenched in the presence of Cu2+ and a complex in 2:1 ratio was formed. This receptor 1 was successfully applied to examine the level of Cu2+ in a drug sample. | en_US |
