dc.description.abstract | Vortex bladeless wind turbines generate electrical power from vibration unlike conventional wind turbines where rotary motion is converted to electrical energy. For achieving maximum electrical output in the bladeless turbine for a given vibration, the design of the electro-mechanical conversion system is critical. In this paper, different possible arrangements of the field with respect to the coil to harness electrical power are discussed in detail and an efficient arrangement was proposed for maximum voltage generation. All the propositions are thoroughly analyzed using Ansys and typical results are presented. | en_US |
