In the present work, 21 fission like residues (74 ≤ A ≤ 133) expected to be populated via fission of composite systems formed as a result of complete and incomplete fusion processes in the interaction of 19F + 175Lu have been identified at two projectile energies viz. 105 ± 1.4 and 110 ± 1.5 MeV. The production cross-sections of these residues have been measured employing the recoil-catcher activation technique followed by the off-line γ -ray spectroscopy. The mass distribution of the fission-like residues is found to be symmetric and can be fitted with a single Gaussian peak, indicating their production from the fully equilibrated composite systems. The variance and centroid for isotopic-yield and isobaric charge distributions have also been obtained for Indium ( 107,108,109,111mIn) and Xenon ( 120,121,122,123Xe) isotopes and are found to be in a reasonably good agreement with the reported literature values. In the present analysis, a self-consistent approach for determining the isobaric charge dispersion parameters has been adopted. Fission is found to be one of the competing modes of de-excitation of complete and/or incomplete fusion composites at low excitation energies where evaporation of light nuclear particle(s) is considered to be a dominant contributoren_US
