Abstract: | This article presents a Riesz-Fejér type inequality which compares the integral mean of a complex-valued harmonic function along a circle to the same along a pair of diameters. As a consequence, a result pertaining to real sequences is obtained which generalizes a famous inequality due to Hilbert. Some sharpness results are proved. One particular scope for further research is discussed as well. |
