dc.description.abstract | A design of compact and biodegradable UHF RFID tag antenna based on alphabetic letters is proposed for IOT applications. To achieve renewability and recyclability, the proposed tag antenna is designed on biodegradable paper with graphene ink. The tag antenna is designed by manipulating the structure of folded monopole antenna in the shape of English alphabets. The designed tag has a long reading range and exhibit good impedance matching on various surfaces, i.e., wooden, cardboard, plastic, and glass jar. The maximum reading range is experimentally verified as 3.3m in the free space. The surface tolerance of the designed tag is tested for different types of surfaces and a reading range of more than 2.5m is achieved for every surface. | en_US |
