Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has exerted unprecedented impacts on school education. Despite improvements in school enrolment numbers, students’ performance on learning outcomes lagged, especially in low- and middle-income countries. This study visualizes the geographical disparity in student learning outcomes across various Indian districts pre- and post-COVID-19 pandemic. The map visualizes that only a sample of districts in a few Indian states enlarged students’ learning outcomes in proportion to the number of children. Furthermore, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic weaken students' learning outcomes at the district level. This knowledge is essential for the policymakers to implement the most effective monitoring systems and strategies for improving the student’s learning outcomes.en_US
