CO2is ahighly abundant, green, and sustainable carbon feedstock. Despite its kineti cinertness and thermo-dynamic stability,the development of various catalytic tech-niques has enabled the conversion of CO2to value-addedproducts such as carboxylic acids, amino acids, and hetero-cyclic compounds, where visible-light photocatalysis hasemerged to be an efficient promoter of these processes.This Minireview covers the progress in the areas of CO2in-corporation onto organic mattersbased on the combined venture of renewable resources of CO2and light energy withsignificant emphasis on the last three years’ developments
