dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a novel method to fully utilize the positive slope region of SRM phase inductance profile and generate a maximum positive torque while simultaneously reducing the torque ripple effectively. The proposed method is based on explicit mathematical model with comparatively lesser computational overhead. Using the proposed modus operandi, torque ripple could be reduced to ≤3%. The proposed algorithm is implemented on a 6/4 3-Phase SRM using Matlab/Simulink and the results are reported. | en_US |
