Chromogenic and fluorescent recognition of iodide with a benzimidazole-based tripodal receptor

Abstract

A novel 1,3,5-substituted triethylbenzene derivative with a 2-aminobenzimidazole moiety as a binding and signaling subunit was synthesized.
