dc.description.abstract This paper describes a probabilistic approach based on a linearization of basic load flow equations. The method computes expected values (mean) and standard deviation of the voltages, angles, injected active and reactive powers and thereby obtain their respective probability density curves. Another method named, Point estimate method utilizes mean, standard deviation and probability of above method to obtain more precise probability density curves. Finally, probability density curves obtained from both methods are compared and results are concluded en_US
