In the clustering based Vehicular Ad-hoc Network
(VANET), the Vehicular to Vehicular (V2V) connectivity relies
on the milli-meter wave which possesses several connectivity
issues (e.g., poor diffraction and high attenuation). Moreover,
the broadcasting nature of connected vehicles raises the issue
of V2V interference. In this letter, we have shown that a large
portion of V2V interference comes from the intra-cluster vehicles only. Then, we propose a dual-slot transmission scheme
for intra-cluster interference suppression. Finally, we propose
a graph-based algorithm to assure that the dominant interfering
nodes may transmit in the different time slots. Further, through
simulation results, it is shown that the proposed approach significantly enhances the V2V connectivity of clustering based
VANET. |
