Integration of DFSA and Query tree acquire higher efficiency values making them the perfect applicant for faster identification applications. However higher energy consumption due to excessive transmissions limit their applicability for energy limited passive RFID systems. In this paper an energy efficient Query-DFSA algorithm has been presented which achieves maximum energy savings along with the substantial average efficiency up to 36.1%. We have further exploited the energy-efficiency metric for collective energy and efficiency judgement. The lower energy and optimum efficiency results in lower desirable energy-efficiency values compared to the existing algorithms. Consequently our algorithm proves to be most suitable for passive RFID systems with maximum energy savings along with the substantial efficiency values. |
